John Rich is passionate about developing products and finding solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges through the application of technology. With over 30 years of experience in product development, technology deployment, and manufacturing, he is honored to serve the fantastically talented teams at Peterbilt, Kenworth, and DAF Trucks as PACCAR’s CTO. He is on a mission to help customers build a better world – one truckload at a time. John Rich, who joined Paccar in March following a 30-year career at Ford Motor Co., cited electrification, autonomous driving and connected vehicles as the main trends driving the future of heavy- and medium-duty trucks.
